If your group, team or employee-building crowd is looking for more localized activities for some healthy fun this spring or throughout the summer, please consider the Barnyard Swing! We have picnic areas, beverages (including craft beer), and ice cream, and lots of fun!
The Barnyard Swing offers group packages for several different budgets. We love to cater to groups including scout groups, church groups, team-building staff, clubs, reunions, and others.
We are ADA compliant and try to make adjustments to all visitors as needed.

General Structure:
Split your group into sub-groups of 5-7 kids plus one adult chaperone. Do this ahead of time. Please remind chaperones that they need to assist kids along the way, and keep an eye on all.
Pick your day and time:
We open special times to accommodate school groups and cut down on outside guests. (Often, groups will select a 9am-12pm time period, including picnic lunch & ice cream and either return to school or att a stop at Cooperstown Bat Factory, Fenimore Art Museum or Farmers’ Museum for a second leg.)
Select activities to fill the time frame and make sure kids are busy:
18 hole miniature golf (feel free to add your own fun competition), Gem Panning for gemstones, Build a Buddy hand-stuffed Teddy Bears, Creek-side Fossil Hunt with information, Spin Art, Hand decorated tote bag, small soft-serve ice cream treat! Digital Ball Wall with Games.
Pricing: (We can work with all budgets.)
- $10 per person – golf, ice cream, spin art, picnic area (1 1/2 hours)
- $15 per person – golf, gem panning, fossil hunt, ice cream, spin art (2 1/2 plus longer if picnicking)
- $23 per person – golf, gem panning, fossil hunt, teddy buddy, spin art, eco bag, ice cream (3 hours)
